We’re a little over 24 hours away from the release of Gran Turismo 5, the most anticipated Playstation 3 game this holiday season. And yet despite the swell of interest, it cannot seem to take the top spot at Amazon.com’s video game hourly bestsellers chart.
The reason is Amazon.com has temporarily reduced the price of Call of Duty: Black Ops on Xbox 360 from $59.99 to $54.99, the lowest price spotted for the newly anointed fastest selling game of all time. This low price combined with the Xbox 360 version of the game being the best selling version has proven a recipe to stimulate sales.
Activision isn’t too keen on seeing their two-week old powerhouse already on sale at a discount so you have to add Call of Duty: Black Ops for Xbox 360 to your shopping cart to see the price.
