Not everyone is thrilled with the idea of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 being set in the near future. When a launch trailer looks as entertaining as this one, does it really matter what decade the action takes place in?
Below is 60 seconds worth of non-stop falling, driving, shooting and everything else you expect from a Treyarch Call of Duty game, sans the zombies. There will be plenty of those, too, but this trailer focuses on the single-player campaign and delivers in spades.
Could the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 end up being junk? Sure it could. For now, relish this trailer and imagine the game being as immersive as you expect it to be.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 deploys on November 13, 2012 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC and Nintendo Wii U.
