Warner Home Video has announced that the former HD DVD exclusive film Caddyshack starring Bill Murry and Chevy Chase has been given a tee time for Blu-ray Disc on June 8.
A 30th anniversary edition tag has been slapped on the release though nothing in the cover art seen below indicates as such. At this time we are unable to confirm any supplemental features which may or may not be included on the disc.
We can confirm that Caddyshack should benefit some from a bump up to 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The previous HD DVD version included lossy Dolby Digital Plus audio.
Expect a Caddyshack Blu-ray pre-order link to show up at Amazon.com by week’s end.
