Buena Vista Home Entertainment has issued a consumer press release highlighting their strong product growth, but more importantly, they appear to have dropped a Blu-ray hint for 2008.
Buried within the release is the following line, “…Sleeping Beauty is planned for re-release on DVD in 2008 and will be available on Blue Ray for the first time.” Nevermind the fact the author of this press release grossly misspelled “Blu-ray,” and focus on what appears to be confirmation of at least one major animated Disney tale going high definition sometime next year.
