Last night at midnight across North America, Summit Entertainment held launch parties at select retailers for the Blu-ray and DVD release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
At one retailer, Target, Summit delivered the first public footage for Breaking Dawn Part 2 that played on televisions in the electronics section just after midnight. It didn’t take long for the footage to make its way online, and I have the footage below for you to watch.
Unless you want a recap of the previous Twilight films, let the video buffer some and skip right to the midway point. It’s there that some brief behind-the-scenes glimpses of production on Breaking Dawn Part 2 are offered, followed by the first clip released from the film.
In the clip, Bella and Edward share a tender moment as equals. It’s the kind of scene that says next to nothing about where the film is headed, yet delivers exactly what Twihards want to see.
