After last night’s incredibly tense new episode of Breaking Bad on AMC, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that Breaking Bad: The Final Season and Breaking Bad: The Complete Series are coming to Blu-ray and DVD on November 26, and bringing with them an alternate ending.
Starring Emmy Award-winning actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad has solidified itself as one of the greatest cable dramas of all time during its six year run. The current season still has three episodes to go, and they promise to bring the series to a close in dramatic fashion if last night’s cliffhanger is any indication.
Breaking Bad: The Complete Series on Blu-ray and DVD comes in special and quite fitting “Barrel” packaging that houses, along with the discs from each season, a Los Pollos Hermanos apron and a collectible booklet with a letter from Gilligan, and a “commemorative Breaking Bad challenge coin designed and created by Gilligan exclusively for this set as a token of appreciation to fans for making the Breaking Bad journey.” Click this awesome packaging image below to see a huge high-res version.
