By now you should have spotted a live-action Borderlands 2 trailer that played during several of the NFL Football games this past weekend. 2K Games is pushing the shooter sequel with deep weapons customization in a big way, and they aren’t done yet.
This morning 2K released the official Borderlands 2 launch trailer that plays up the game’s tagline, “Mayhem Awaits. Bring Friends.” Whereas Borderlands was a solitary experience, Borderlands 2 is emphasizing the game’s cooperative experience and how that will impact the swarms of enemies that await.
Take the launch trailer, for example. A ship crashes and four survivors rise from the wreckage. What they find is a junk field full of live targets, and once targets are cleared, literally hundreds more are already on the way.
