2009’s The Last House on the Left will be coming to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on August 18 courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
The remake of an early Wes Craven film by the same name follows two parents who exact revenge on the psychopaths that harmed their child. It stars Monica Potter (Saw), Tony Goldwyn (The Last Samurai), and Sara Paxton.
The Blu-ray edition will feature the theatrical and a new unrated cut presented in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Code will also be included.
Bonus features are fairly slim but do include deleted Scenes, A Look Inside featurette, BD-Live My Scenes and a digital copy.
The Last House on the Left on Blu-ray will retail for $39.98. Pre-order information and high-res cover art are on the way.
