Update: release date fixed to May 26. If you win the format war, it will come. Universal’s former HD DVD exclusive and hardball classic Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner as a man who lures deceased baseball players to his property will make its way to Blu-ray Disc on May 26.
The Blu-ray version of Field of Dreams will closely mirror the HD DVD version with only a couple exceptions. Audio will be bumped up to 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and BD-Live will be supported.
Other features include a 1.85:1 1080p transfer and the following extras.
