Jennifer Connelly is no stranger to popping up on Blu-ray Disc. Before starring alongside Keanu Reeves in this week’s remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still, she had already appeared in Dark City, Blood Diamond, Ang Lee’s The Hulk and the one we try to forget, Dark Water.
On June 2, Jennifer will appear on Blu-ray yet again in the romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You. I expect to see a lot more of her moving forward including a youthful performance in the 80s cult classic Labyrinth which is slated for Blu-ray sometime this summer.
In a perfect world Jennifer’s Rise and Shine debut would be attached to the Blu-ray release of Requiem for a Dream. Wishful thinking, right? For now, check out Jennifer in The Day The Earth Stood Still as she tries to save the world from Keanu Reeves err Klaatu. God help us all.
