Update: Pre-order links added.
Online retailer DVDEmpire.com has added listings for Signs and The Recruit on Blu-ray Disc, each pegged for a June 3 release.
Disney had previously stated in early 2007 that The Recruit would be in stores that summer. After the summer came and went, Disney released The Recruit in Europe and Asia this past winter. After a year’s delay, The Recruit is finally back on track.
We expect Disney to present The Recruit in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 uncompressed audio.
Special features should be identical to the DVD release and include the following.
- Feature Commentary by Director Roger Donaldson and Actor Colin Farrell
- “Spy School: Inside The CIA”
- Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary by Roger Donaldson And Colin Farrell
M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs marks the second high definition title from the filmmaker, the first being Unbreakable which is due in stores April 1.
Look for Signs to be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 uncompressed audio.
As with The Recruit, supplemental features should mirror those found on the standard DVD.
- Deleted Scenes
- Making Signs
- Storyboards: Multi-Angle Features
- Night’s First Alien Movie
The Recruit and Signs will carry an SRP of $34.99. Click through the disc details below to view high resolution cover art.
