Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced the CGI-animated otherworldly adventure Battle for Terra will extend to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on September 22.
In Battle for Terra, when environmental destruction forces people to leave Earth, the remaining survivors rocket through space on a quest to find a new home. At first it seems like the beautiful planet Terra is the perfect place to take over. But when a fighter pilot (Luke Wilson) crashes on Terra, he forms an unlikely friendship with a rebellious Terrian girl named Mala (Evan Rachel Wood). Now, putting aside their differences, the young heroes join forces to protect Terra from destruction in this exciting, action-filled sci-fi adventure. Also lending their voices are Dennis Quaid, Danny Glover and James Garner.
Lionsgate has yet to reveal technical disc information but I do have a partial list of bonus features to share. None of these are expected to be Blu-ray exclusives.
