National Geographic and Warner Home Video have announced Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure, a National Geographic Giant Screen film, will be released June 10 on Blu-ray Disc.
Sea Monsters will be presented on a BD-25 disc. Additional technical specifications or supplemental features are not yet available.
National Geographic will not be offering Sea Monsters on HD DVD after declaring an immediate shift to Blu-ray exclusivity after Warner decided to pull the plug on HD DVD during a pre-CES announcement. It’s June 10 release date puts it past the end of May cut-off for Warner to drop HD DVD entirely.
