For the past week online retailer Amazon.com has been selling Rocky: The Undisputed Collection on Blu-ray for a dramatically discounted price as their Blu-ray Deal of the Week. Sales have been strong enough to catapult the Blu-ray box set into the number one position on Amazon’s Blu-ray Bestsellers chart.
The deal offers the box set including all six “Rocky” films starring Sylvester Stallone, from the original Rocky through Rocky Balboa, for only $19.99. That works out to a 71% discount off the $69.99 list price and just over $3 per Rocky film.
Amazon will reset their Blu-ray Deal of the Week tonight at midnight PST and Rocky: The Undisputed Collection on Blu-ray will revert to its normal price somewhere north of $30. If you want to build up your Blu-ray collection with a box set on the cheap, this is a perfect opportunity to do so.
