Blu-ray has invaded Amazon.com’s Gold Box Deal of the Day again, this time with laughs and a seriously cheap per-film price on the agenda.
For today only, Amazon is selling the Mel Brooks Collection on Blu-ray for $28.99 or 64% off the $79.98 list price. That’s about 20% less than what Amazon typically sells the set for.
The Mel Brooks Collection on Blu-ray includes nine films from the actor and filmmaker’s long career: Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Silent Movie, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, To Be or Not to Be, History of the World, Part 1, The Twelve Chairs and High Anxiety. The math on the sale price works out to around $3.22 per movie.
