Winter is coming to Blu-ray in just under two weeks, and Amazon.com wants you to save some coin when ensuring the storm ends up at your house.
Today Amazon dropped the price of HBO’s Game of Thrones: Season 1 on Blu-ray starring Sean Bean, Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Jason Momoa and many others by a full $10, bringing it down to $34.99 from its previous $44.99 price. That’s a 56% discount off the SRP and likely as low as it will go in the foreseeable future.
If you happened to already pre-order Game of Thrones: Season 1 on Blu-ray before the price drop, fear not. Amazon always pays its debts, and all pre-orders will honor the new lower $34.99 price regardless of when they were placed.
The only only lingering question is whether this is a temporary price cut or a permanent one. I honestly don’t know, but if you were on the fence with adding Game of Thrones: Season 1 to your Blu-ray collection, now is the time to jump off it.
