Best Buy and Toys R Us Start Cyber Monday 2011 on Sunday

Best Buy and Toys R Us Start Cyber Monday 2011 on SundayEarlier I reported that Amazon.com had begun their Cyber Monday deals a day early and were planning on running a variety of offers throughout the week. They weren’t the only ones getting the jump on this year’s craze of starting early.

Coming off early reports that Black Friday holiday shopping between Thursday and Sunday hit an all-time high thanks in part to select retailers opening Thanksgiving evening, Best Buy and Toys “R” Us began their Cyber Monday deals a day early as well. Both retailers are offering a variety of deals designed to get consumers to whip our their credit cards and scoop up presents or deals too good to pass up no matter the time of year.

At Bestbuy.com, the retailer is offering free shipping on all orders regardless of the total. They are also offering a $10 e-gift card with a store pick-up order of $100 or more. Some of the deals spotted include Dance Central 2 for Xbox 360 Kinect for $24.99 and the Twilight films on Blu-ray for under $13 a piece.

ToysRUs.com is offering free shipping on orders $49 or higher, plus a number of Cyber Monday deals broken out by category. Most of the video game deals throw in a freebie with the purchase of something else at full price.

Right now, the best deals look to be coming from Amazon.com whose reputation as the king of online retailers has a lot riding on how successful it is through its Cyber Monday Week.
