Paramount has released the final Blu-ray Disc cover art for the upcoming Criterion Collection release of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
We’ve been wondering what this cover would look like as it is the first Criterion Blu-ray title to be published by a studio other than Criterion. The result seen below matches Criterions other Blu-ray releases which leads us to believe the same “green friendly” card stock packaging will be utilized.
With the Criterion designation comes 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio instead of the typical 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio Paramount typically employs. Video will be in the form of 2.35:1 1080p.
Moving over to bonus features reveals a four-part documentary and commentary with Fincher. The details are as follows.
