Paramount Home Entertainment has released the full disc specs for Dreamworks’ Bee Movie on Blu-ray Disc, one of three new titles comprising the studio’s return to Blu-ray on May 20.
The Blu-ray version of Bee Movie will be identical in content and specs to the canceled HD DVD version previously scheduled for a March 2008 release.
Bee Movie on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
Supplemental materials will include a mix of Blu-ray exclusive features, HD features, and a whole lot of other stuff currently found on the available DVD version. Exclusive to Blu-ray will be “Barry’s Trivia Track” with pop-up trivia, changeable menus, and a “Build-A-Bee” feature allowing viewers to craft their own custom avatar.
