Battlefield 3 pre-orders have been strong for weeks at online retailer Amazon.com across its Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC skus. With the October 25 release date just around the corner, Amazon has sweetened the pot in hopes of producing a last minute pre-orders sales surge.
Anyone who pre-orders the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC version of Battlefield 3: Limited Edition at Amazon.com will get a $20 credit toward a future purchase at the online store. This is in addition to the Dog Tag Pack and Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack that will be packed into the game for free.
What if you already pre-ordered Battlefield 3: Limited Edition from Amazon.com before this last-minute promotion began? Fear not as you’ll still receive the $20 credit no matter when you put your pre-order in. It’s the same type of deal as when a price drops during the pre-order phase; you get whatever the lowest price is prior to the item shipping.
