As it turns out the big Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice announcement wasn’t the only Batman-related news item of the day. Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios had something of their own to show off from Batman: Arkham Knight.
Below you find an all-new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios have dubbed ‘Evening the Odds’ and released via the PlayStation Blog to showcase the game running on PlayStation 4. The title is in reference to Batman bringing his new Batmobile out of the garage in order to “even the odds” against the new Arkham Knight villain, Scarecrow, Two-Face and other thugs threatening to turn Gotham into hell.
This new trailer is supposed to be of the gameplay variety according to the YouTube description. Unless my eyes deceive me, it looks to be entirely comprised of cinematic footage save for a few fleeting glimpses of the Batmobile driving through a tunnel. In-engine might be a more appropriate description.
Batman: Arkham Knight comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC on October 14. Pre-ordering early will grant access to play as Harley Quinn.
