Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that Ron Howard’s 1991 firefighting thriller Backdraft will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a new Blu-ray Disc and DVD release on January 4, 2011.
This new anniversary edition of the film starring Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Scott Glenn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rebecca DeMornay, Donald Sutherland and Robert De Niro will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features included on the Blu-ray version are as follows:
