Colonial Boston isn’t a safe place for British soldiers in a new weapons trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 that Ubisoft dropped off this morning.
There are many ways to kill the enemy in Assassin’s Creed 3, some obvious and others not so much. Blades have always played an important role in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and will continue to. Unlike the previous games, firearms will be plentiful and can be put to use.
One rather unexpected kill scene in the trailer sees the half-English and half-Native American assassin Connor Kenwa grab a British soldier around the neck and hold his head about waist high. He then pulls out a pistol and proceeds to put a bullet through the soldier’s skull.
If deep red blood spilling onto virgin white snow is your cup of tea then this new Assassin’s Creed 3 weapons trailer will not disappoint. It’s the equivalent of a Mortal Kombat fatalities trailer, only without breaking the laws of physics every other frame.
Assassin’s Creed 3 comes to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on October 30. It will also be a Wii U launch title and be available to purchase beginning November 13, though you won’t be able to play it until the November 18 console launch.
