Ubisoft must have gotten a good response from their previous interactive Assassin’s Creed 3 trailers as a new one has launched that lets you decide how to approach and execute the assassination of Major John Pitcairn at the Battle of Bunker Hill.
For those of you who missed the previous interactive trailer, the way it works is you get to choose how to approach completing the mission by selecting the on-screen prompt options. You can go back and watch the trailer several times and reach the same conclusion a little differently each time.
For example, the trailer starts as the Battle of Bunker Hill is in full swing. You can choose to charge through the battlefield to reach the enemy camp beyond, or sneak around and not arouse any suspicion.
When it comes time to fight, you choose whether you go for a ranged attack with a pistol, melee combat up-close, or an aerial assault from the trees that the Redcoats never see coming.
My personal favorite is the “meat shield” option. Everyone loves a meat shield.
Assassin’s Creed 3 makes its big Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC debut on October 30. The Wii U version rides into stores on November 18.
