Andrew Bogut hits the virtual court on Xbox Live

Andrew Bogut, the 7′-0″ rookie from the Milwaukee Bucks, is taking advantage of his night off and bringing his basketball talents to Xbox Live in the latest edition of “Game with Fame.” Look for gamertag ‘BogutGWF’ on Thursday February 23rd from 6 to 7 CST as the big Australian hosts challengers in NBA Live 06 for the Xbox.

“I am looking forward to chatting and playing against NBA fans across the country and because we’ll be using Xbox Live, I’ll be able to play against gamers from all over the world, said Bogut. “Maybe a couple of friends from Australia will join the Game With Fame and make it a true international event.”


Bogut, the number one pick in the 2005 NBA Draft who will have his number retired by the University of Utah this month, led all rookies for the month of January in rebounding (8.8 rpg) and blocks (1.35 bpg), while ranking third in scoring (10.4 ppg) and third in field goal percentage (.554 percent) among rookies. Bogut has had a big impact on his new team. At this time last year, the Milwaukee Bucks were 15-27 and ranked 13th in the Eastern Conference. Currently the Bucks are ranked fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 27-24 record.
