The Academy Awards are now just around the corner and retailers are looking to cash in on the publicity.
Amazon.com has opened up an “Oscar-nominated movies on Blu-ray” sale that sees prices on many high profile titles slashed as low as $14.99.
Some of the big titles including Amadeus: Director’s Cut ($14.99), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest ($14.99), 2001 ($15.99), The Departed ($14.99) and Unforgiven ($15.49).

Already benefiting from the sale is Amadeus which has skyrocketed into the number one bestsellers sales spot for Blu-ray. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest has also cracked the top 10 at number 7.
The Oscar Blu-ray promotion will run until March 2 or while supplies last.
