Sales of Sony’s 40GB Playstation 3 continue to climb following Toshiba closing the door on future HD DVD hardware last week.
As of this morning, the 40GB PS3 model sits at number 6 on the Amazon.com hottest video game chart. For reference, the Nintendo DS sits a slot lower at #7, while the top 4 slots are all occupied by Wii-related software and hardware.
Also cracking the top 10 is the which sits at #8. The remote is an important piece to the Blu-ray movie playback experience. Anyone who has used the PS3 game controller to watch movies will understand the dedicated Blu-ray remote is far superior.
