Amazon.com ruffled feathers within the Blu-ray Disc community last week when they began taking pre-orders Warner’s The Batman Anthology box set priced only 10% less than the already steep SRP of $129.99.
The price point made little sense as Best Buy was already pre-selling The Batman Anthology for under $90 and Amazon typically prices their Blu-ray product at around 30% off list price.
Our forum moderator Spideybat predicted Amazon would match Best Buy’s price and it turns it out he was right on the money. As of this morning, Amazon is selling The Batman Anthology on Blu-ray for $88.99.
