Online retailer Amazon.com has been quietly cutting Blu-ray Disc prices over the past few days and as a result some great deals are starting to pop up.
The big titles in this unofficial “sale” are all from Paramount and Dreamworks. They include Iron Man, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Transformers. Each has been priced down to $16.99, low enough to catapult Iron Man into the #1 Blu-ray sales slot for today at Amazon.
Another popular title, Planet Earth: The Complete Series, saw a more modest cut down to $55.49. That’s still about $5 less than it usually sells for and only 50 cents more than the DVD version.
Below are some older Blu-ray titles, but not by any means bad ones, that have seen their prices cut down to “hard to pass on” levels. They’ve been sorted from cheapest to most expensive.

- Rambo: First Blood Part II – $9.99
