Amazon Blu-ray Up to 50 Percent Off Sale Still Going Strong

Amazon.com has become the “go to” place to shop for Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD buy one, get one free or price cut sales, with new promotions popping up seemingly ever week or two. The only downside is these promotions typically go as fast as they come, so not everyone has a chance to grab some hot titles for cheap.

Amazon’s last big Blu-ray Disc promotion, “Feed Your Blu-ray Player: Up to 50% Off Blu-ray Discs,” is bucking that trend. It’s been running strong for well over two weeks now with no signs of letting up. Even as titles have sold out, such as Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End did, Amazon has been quick to replenish supply.

As of this morning, the promotion includes 51 Buena Vista (Disney, Miramax and Dimension) titles with pricing running as low as $14.99. Some of the big name titles available are Pixar’s Ratatouille ($19.99), Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End ($19.99, lower than the DVD version), Lost: Season Three ($57.99), and Pixar’s Cars ($19.99).

With any luck, Amazon is already planning the next high-def promotion for when this one eventually disappears. Whenever that may be.
