Sega has dropped a new extended cut version of the “Contact” trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines. After watching it just once I’m ready to pop in Aliens on Blu-ray and enjoy the hell out of it.
Those of you who didn’t see the first version are in for a real treat. Running the same length as a theatrical movie trailer, the “Contact” Aliens: Colonial Marines follows dripping acid blood as it burns through floors of the Marines’ ship. Each floor depicts different situations players will encounter throughout the game, from Aliens under the floor to facehuggers, to the Queen Alien herself.
I’m personally holding out for the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines because of the ability to use the second screen for motion tracking as seen in the movie Aliens and appearing the game as well. That version doesn’t yet have a firm release date.
Aliens: Colonial Marines arrives on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC next Tuesday, February 12.
