The wait for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story advance ticket sales will soon come to an end on a day that will be long remembered.
Lucasfilm took to social media on Black Friday morning and announced that Star Wars: Rogue One advance ticket sales will officially begin on Monday, November 28th. This day is otherwise known as Cyber Monday.
The brief announcement doesn’t offer any indication of what time the ticket sales will appear. If you want one of the first late night showings on December 15th then you might want to stalk wherever you intend to secure the tickets from.
Early tracking estimates peg the opening weekend of Star Wars: Rogue One to land somewhere in the vicinity of $130 to $150 million. A week or so of advance ticket sales should help narrow down those estimates a bit.
Personally I believe a $150 million-plus opening is still within range barring negative early reviews and CinemaScore ratings from day one moviegoers. Don’t underestimate The Force.
