It has been revealed that there are roughly 60 fully rendered live-action Pokemon in the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie starring Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton.
Many of those Pokemon can be seen in the previously released trailers, but not all of them. Warner Bros. will surely keep some under wraps until the movie is released on May 10th.
Since today marks exactly one month until Detective Pikachu arrives in theaters, Warner Bros. and Reynolds have teamed up to release a new teaser video that puts several Pokemon into an audition setting.
You get to see Charizard, Pikachu and others already highlighted in the trailers. But you also get to see some Pokemon in their live-action form for the first time.
I won’t spoil the surprises. Watch the new Detective Pikachu teaser below that also includes a neat Psyduck scene presumably straight from the film.
