Paramount has released a 60-second Mission: Impossible – Fallout featurette that shows some fleeting new behind-the-scenes shots from the upcoming sixth film in the franchise.
Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg and Director Christopher McQuarrie all add their 2 cents about the flick. Cavill of course thinks it’s the best Mission yet and that probably has nothing to do with the fact that it’s his first turn in one of these films.
Cruise wants us to invest in the characters more so than the action. The characters are great, don’t get me wrong. But at the end of the day it’s the stunt-filled action that usually lingers on the brain for a longer period of time.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout dangles Cruise from a helicopter when it arrives in theaters on July 27th.
