One of the hottest panels at this year’s Comic-Con will be the Marvel panel in Hall H where surprise guests and first looks at potentially multiple upcoming films are expected.
Thus far Marvel has only revealed the first two films in Phase 3 of their Cinematic Universe: Ant-Man and Captain America 3. Dr. Strange, Thor 3 and Avengers 3 are the favored potential films to round out that list, though don’t necessarily count out another adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy just yet.
The Marvel Studios Comic-Con panel will most definitely reveal the first official footage from next summer’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the big Phase 2 final act that has been in production for many months. I would also expect to see an inside look at pre-production and possibly early test footage from Ant-Man as well.
If you’re at Comic-Con and want to attend the Marvel Studios panel then I suggest you start lining up at least a day in advance at Hall H in San Diego. There will be far more people that want to get into the panel than Hall H can fit. Why Marvel and other studios don’t use the Internet to live stream these panels so anyone can watch is beyond me.
Marvel Studios will be live blogging the panel and we’ll embed that in a new post just before the panel gets underway.
