New James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’ Poster Now, Red Band Trailer Tomorrow

James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is the next DC Films release following the recent debut of Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max. Though Gunn’s sequel/reboot is still a little ways off, we just got one treat and are on the precipice of another.

Gunn took to Twitter this afternoon and unveiled an all-new The Suicide Squad poster with the tagline “They’re Dying to Save The World.” How fittingly appropriate for a gang of criminals tasked with impossible missions and an explosive in their head ready to detonate if they don’t perform.

While the poster today is cool, tomorrow we’ll get an all-new red band trailer that’s sure to be chock full of violence and language. How far will Gunn take The Suicide Squad? Is an R-rating an inevitability?

The Suicide Squad is a simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max release on August 6th, 2021.
