Zack Snyder dropped a bombshell online this evening by releasing 21 seconds worth of the first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer via his Twitter account.
First let’s back up a few hours. Yesterday news broke that Snyder was planning to release five seconds of the trailer online approximately one hour before the big Star Wars Celebration panel kickoff with J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy. That turned out to be partially true, and the parts not correct work to our advantage.
Instead of waiting until Thursday morning and eating into the Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens trailer party, Snyder slyly dropped the 21 seconds worth of Batman and Superman’s costume on Twitter while simultaneously confirming the full teaser trailer will play in select IMAX locations on Monday. I would expect the Batman v Superman trailer to arrive online no later than Tuesday morning.
You can still score a free pass to watch the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer at a participating IMAX location by visiting this special event web page that Warner Bros. has set up.
Watch the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer tease below. If you’re like me, you’ll watch it over and over more than a few times to check out Batman’s awesome suit.
