On the off chance you were wondering what the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice rating might be then wonder no more. The Motion Picture Association of America has officially slapped the Man of Steel sequel from director Zack Snyder with a PG-13 rating per Box Office Mojo.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice rating could have been guessed by a chimpanzee. What’s intriguing comes from the descriptive rating that reads “intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.”
Sensuality. Could that imply that the image seen above of Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) sharing a dance becomes steamy enough of a scene to be deemed “sensual” by the MPAA? It’s certainly possible.
The rating ultimately means that a near final cut of the film is in the can and any changes from here on out would likely be superficial at best. An early rating is by no mean odd considering the film was originally slated for a summer 2015 release before being bumped into the spring of next year.
I was hoping Batman Day this past week would have delivered a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer or even a new image. We’re now under the six month countdown and eager fans are chomping at the bit for something — anything — new to be released.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
