As of the time of this writing, in a few short hours the Star Wars Battlefront II beta will be open to everyone. The beta has already begun for people who had preordered ahead of time. For those waiting to try out the beta before launch, be ready to battle it out across a few different modes.
Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, Strike, and Arcade will all be on display when the beta opens to everyone. Galactic Assault feels like Walker Assault from the first battlefront on a larger scale. Starfighter Assault puts the new vehicle controls on display while participating in space battles. Strike is more of a classic, small scale battle that doesn’t feature any heroes. Lastly, Arcade puts players against AI enemies.
The beta will run until October 9th, and is a rather large download size for a beta, ranging from 13.8 GB to 22.8 GB depending on the platform you’re playing on. Star Wars Battlefront II launches on November 17th for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. Additionally, the upcoming Star Wars sequel will be fully enhanced for Xbox One X and Playstation 4 Pro.
