‘Spyro Reignited Trilogy’ Coming This September to PS4 and Xbox One (Updated)

Today Activision officially announced the Spyro Reignited Trilogy rumored game is very much real and coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this September in celebration of the original game’s 20th anniversary.

Update: The official release date is September 21st, 2018.

A Nintendo Switch version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy is not planned at this time.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is being handled by Skylanders creator/developer Toys For Bob includes all three original franchise games: Spyro the DragonSpyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Each game has been rebuilt from the ground up and features upgraded environments, updated controls with full analog stick support, brand-new lighting, recreated cinematics, and a re-imagining of Stewart Copeland’s original soundtrack from the first three games.

Tom Kenny, who voiced Spyro in the second and third games, returns to lend his voice across all three games in Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
