PlayStation TV Games List for Day One Totals Nearly 700 Strong

The PlayStation TV release date is October 14 and coming up fast. To get you prepared for what the new device and service has to offer, Sony has released a complete PlayStation TV games list that totals nearly 700 games and promised more games are on the way.

A PS TV unit retails for $99.99 and allows you to perform numerous gaming activities. These include downloading games directly to PS Vita or to a PS Vita card; playing classic PS One and PlayStation Portable games like Metal Gear Solid with a controller and no additional console required; access to PS Now so you can play select PS3 games directly from PS TV; and use Remote Play to stream games from PS4 to a different TV with PS TV running.

PS TV is a nifty device for longtime PlayStation fans that want access to a vast games library that they don’t currently own on disc, as well as providing remote play for PS4 owners to rival Wii U ‘s off-screen play on the GamePad. Sony’s PS4 exclusives lineup this holiday season may be weak, but they’re tapping into nostalgia big time with the launch of PS4.

Amazon is currently pre-selling PlayStation TV as a standalone unit and in a bundle with a DualShock 3 controller, Lego Movie video game voucher, and an 8MB memory card for $139.99. Walmart additionally has an exclusive bundle that includes everything in the aforementioned bundle with the addition of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for the same price.
