Play LEGO Dimensions at San Diego Comic-Con This Week

Fire up the Delorean, call Dr Who and signal the Batman. The public will get their first crack to play LEGO Dimensions at San Diego Comic-Con this upcoming week and pick up some cool swag the same time from the upcoming new Toys to Life gaming entry.

Starting this Thursday, July 9 from 3-7pm, through Saturday and then Sunday from 10am-2pm, Warner Brothers Interactive and developer TT Games will set up shop at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, 207 5th Ave in Ballrooms 1 and 2 to offer the public a playable demo of LEGO Dimensions. The ballroom stairs entrance from 5th Ave is recommended.

Anyone who shows up is eligible to play the demo whether they are registered to attend Comic-Con or not, so if you’re local and want to go hands-on with LEGO Dimensions, better get there early and expect long lines ahead of you.

There will be additional incentives to lure you into the LEGO Dimensions experience at Comic-Con. Anyone who plays will get a limited edition LEGO Dimensions print featuring Dr Who and Portal 2. Special guests including Bob Gale of Back to the Future and LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya will be on hand, and a LEGO Dimensions t-shirt will be given out to anyone who pre-orders any LEGO Dimensions product on the spot.
