There is little actual “order” in The Order: 1886 story trailer that Sony published today as a reminder that the big PS4 exclusive game entered Gone Gold status a few days ago, meaning coding and work on the game is locked and been shipped off to manufacturing.
Set in Victorian-Era London, the trailer introduces the Knight Galahad and his companions as they attempt to stop an ancient enemy that is anything but ordinary. The catch is these elite knights have futuristic weaponry at their disposal capable of leaving a lasting impression on the gorgeously recreated London architecture.
There’s a conspiracy brewing under the surface of the game’s events so pay close attention to the trailer as you watch it.
The Order: 1886 is set for a February 20, 2015 release on PlayStation 4. The triple-A game has been in development at Ready at Dawn studios for roughly four years. Without a big PS4-exclusive fisrt-party mature title this past holiday season, The Order: 1886 has a hype train behind it a mile long.
