With an ‘OMG’ trailer and handful of sexy screenshots, 2K’s NBA 2K14 for Xbox One and PS4 has emerged as one of the must-own next-gen launch titles for the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, respectively.
Yesterday 2K Sports held a media unveiling for NBA 2K14 in San Francisco. To go along with the unveiling that included some short hands-on gameplay time, some fresh new screenshots were released that delves into the action on and off the court. Kobe Bryant and Ray Allen look incredible in these screens, calling back memories of the Madden jump in visuals when it launched alongside PlayStation 2 way back in the day.
As 2K Sports keeps reminding us, every single art asset in this game has been built from scratch. Nothing, and I mean nothing has been carried over from the current Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game.
NBA 2K14 will be available to pick on November 15 for PlayStation 4 and November 22 for Xbox One. If you’re looking for a Watch Dogs replacement after Ubisoft delayed that game into 2014, I don’t think you can go wrong with NBA 2K14 whether you’re a basketball fan or not.
