One of the first big video games out the gate this fall is Avalanche Software’s Mad Max. This original story based in the Mad Max universe has sleeper hit written all over it, and the latest Mad Max Stronghold trailer is further proof that there’s a lot here to like.
The new trailer sees Max with his awesome accent pay a visit to various locations throughout the game, known as strongholds. In his journeys Max meets Jeet, Gutgash, Pink Eye and Deep Friah, all of which make an appearance in the trailer and all of which fit perfectly in the post-apocalyptic desert Wastelands.
The ultimate goal of the Mad Max game is to defeat the Wasteland tyrant, Scrotus. To do so, Max will need to find clues at each stronghold and form uneasy alliances. The game will require players to partake in foot and vehicle-based combat as Max himself has had to do in all the Mad Max films.
Mad Max arrives on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on September 1, 2015, the same day that Mad Max: Fury Road makes its Blu-ray and DVD debut.
