Middle-earth gets bricked in LEGO The Lord of the Rings, the next open-world LEGO adventure from TT Games coming hot on the heels of this summer’s LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes.
The recent PAX Prime 2012 show delivered some new LEGO The Lord of the Rings assets in the form of screenshots and a trailer, all of which you can creep toward like Gollum below. You’ll get a glimpse of several of the over 60 playable characters that can be discovered and unlocked in the game, as well as some of the big boss fights against larger-than-life Middle-earth creatures.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a TT Games LEGO adventure without an ample supply of humor. I suspect that ring will be bonking Frodo in the head on more than one occasion.
LEGO The Lord of the Rings is set for an October 30 release on a wide variety of platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, 3DS, DS, PC and PS Vita. LEGO toys that go hand-in-hand with the game are already available for purchase.
