Microsoft and 343 Industries have conveniently dropped a new Halo 5: Guardians trailer for Xbox One as EA’s Star Wars Battlefront beta is wrapping up on Xbox One and PS4. And not just any trailer, either.
Below you can watch the all-new Halo 5 launch gameplay trailer that includes actual individual and vehicle-based gameplay. You have to watch half a trailer’s worth of cinematics first including several scenes you’ve already seen before from previously released Halo 5 trailers. Once the gameplay hits it sustains until the end.
Halo 5 is being billed as the “greatest hunt in gaming history” and this new trailer plays up that marketing angle. Master Chief is the one being hunted, of course, and the fact that this game marks the “beginning” of the hunt makes me wonder if Master Chief and his followers will still be on the run and operating against the establishment into the next full Halo game.
The Halo 5: Guardians release date is now only two weeks away. Get your pre-order in if you haven’t already and get ready to take on the first Xbox One-exclusive Halo adventure before you know it.
