The first LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin screenshots for Nintendo 3DS and Sony PS Vita have made their way online and feature some familiar settings and characters from both the current season of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and past seasons as well.
In these dozen screenshots you will see Jay, Cole, Kai, and Lloyd in their sleeveless Tournament of Elements outfits set to debut in North America later this month on the Cartoon Network. Next month these same outfits will appear in a new wave of LEGO Ninjago toys.
Look closely and you’ll also spot the junkyard where Jay’s parents live, Nya, and a familiar snake-infested bog.
What these dozen LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin screenshots don’t offer is a glimpse at the game’s main villain, Ronin. This new character will appear in LEGO toy form this summer, but how he fits into the overall LEGO Ninjago 2015 story remains to be seen.
