FIFA 17 Demo Out Now for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC

Today’s a big day for soccer i.e. futbol fans who love a little virtual action. EA Sports has released the official and very free FIFA 17 demo for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

I immediately tried to download the FIFA 17 demo PS4 version and the entire PlayStation Network is down. Whether the outage is tied to the demo or not isn’t known. Regardless, exercise patience when trying to download the FIFA 17 demo as it might take awhile to find a clear window to do so.

The FIFA 17 demo serves two purposes. First, it gives a glimpse at some of the big Premiere League teams including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea FC, Real Madrid C.F., Juventus, Inter, Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais, Seattle Sounders, FC Bayern Munchen, Club Tigres UNAL and Gamba Osaka.

Available stadiums in the FIFA 17 demo include Field, Stamford Bridge and newly added J1 League ground and Suita City Football Stadium.

Second, the FIFA 17 demo offers a sneak peek at The Journey mode. Similar to The Show in Sony’s MLB games, The Journey puts you in the soccer cleats of Alex Hunter, a rising Premiere League star on Manchester United. You’ll play exclusively as this player as you try to become a star.

FIFA 17 arrives in North America on September 27th. Watch the new The Journey trailer below.
