Disney Interactive is has done a great job thus far of building a strong relationship with the Disney Infinity Toy Box builder community. That relationship will expand in August with the first ever Disney Infinity Toy Box Summit that will be attended by some in person and others via a live online streaming webcast.
Those in person at the Toy Box Summit will get a chance to preview Disney Infinity 2.0, participate in a challenge competition, meet members of the Avalanche Software team that developed the game, and more. Some of the top Toy Box community builders will be flown in for the event, and though unconfirmed, I’m sure the select Toy Box builders that Avalanche Software hired will also be on hand.
Not just anyone can show up at Avalanche Software in Salt Lake City, Utah and expect to attend the event. You must receive an invite or win a spot. Details on how to win a spot are not yet available.
The Disney Infinity Toy Box Summit will take place over the course of three days from August 15-17.
